Estimate consumption and the energy charge using your own rate. This is not a duplicate bill or an official tariff calculator.
Formula and example
Energy (kWh) = watts ÷ 1,000 × hours per day × days.
Estimated energy charge = kWh × the rate you enter.
Example: a 1,000 W appliance used 2 hours daily for 30 days consumes 60 kWh. At an illustrative rate of PKR 40 per kWh, its energy charge is PKR 2,400. The example rate is not an official tariff.
What this estimate leaves out
Fixed charges, taxes, fuel adjustments, tariff slabs and other fees are excluded. Appliances that cycle on and off may use less than their rated power continuously. Use measured consumption where available.
