Your electricity provider and gas provider use different billing systems. Keep their reference or consumer numbers separate. Check the label beside the number before entering it on a provider’s website.

Open the source before entering information

Use our provider directory to open the official website. Check its domain and the selected company before entering a number. Do not enter a bank password or OTP into an independent bill guide.

If you do not have an old bill

Visit the official provider’s customer service page for its account-recovery or help options. This site cannot retrieve customer details by name.

Open the official provider bill service, complete its form and check that the bill belongs to the correct account and billing period.

Use the provider download option

If the portal offers a PDF download, use it. If it displays a printable page, open your browser’s print menu and choose Save as PDF where supported. Preview the document before saving to ensure the bill details are visible.

Keep the file private

A bill may contain a customer name, address and account identifier. Save it in a private folder and avoid uploading it to public groups or websites.

Name files clearly

Use the provider and billing month in the filename. A downloaded bill is not proof of payment; retain your payment receipt separately.
